With BaSyx, AAS-Suite, and the AAS Twin Engine, the technical foundation is in place to create, populate, and serve Asset Administration Shells. The Digital Product Passport is just the first use case – the ecosystem is deliberately designed so that further use cases and components can build on top of it.
Further use cases
The project already includes submodel templates for carbon footprint, maintenance instructions, technical data, and handover documentation. These provide a foundation for further use cases beyond the DPP.
More components from the AAS ecosystem
The ecosystem can be extended with further BaSyx components, such as registry and discovery services. Securing access via Keycloak is already prepared in the stack.
